In the summer we go out on the fields behind the scout headquarters to play outdoor games, explore the countryside and do quizzes |

| Events | |||
| We take part in events organised for the Rochdale District such as the fun swim, sports day and 5-a-side football competition. | |||
| Visit to Cub Camp | |||
| Once a year we join the Cubs for a day on their annual camp and learn tracking and backwoods cooking. | |||
| Sleepover | |||
| Once a year the older (7 year old) Beavers go away on a 24 hour sleepover. The Beavers are divided up into teams and compete for a prize during an expedition, discovery games and creative activities. | |||
| The aim of being in Beavers is to have fun, meet new friends and to get ready for going up into the older sections of Scouts. | |||

| Membership of the Beavers nationally is governed by the Terms and Conditions of the Scout Association as set out in Policy, Organisation and Rules. | |
